Will miss bumping into Dan and having a catch up in the plumber's merchants. Used to go out in the town with Dan when we were in our early 20's, great bloke, always wanted to stop for a chat. Will be missed.

To a very good friend Dan Waite on and off the pitch mate you was one of the best and absolute gentleman you didn’t have a bad bone in your body done so much for so many people I have played alongside you on the pitch and what a great player you was and also had the great honour of coaching alongside you to mate you really didn’t deserve what happened to you and will be so sadly missed if the big man upstairs is taking people like you in this life then no one is safe such a sad day today sending you off always in my thoughts and prayers you Sarah and the kids rip mate now and forever 😢😢🙏🏻🙏🏻 Gav Zar Louie and Ellie xxx

Dan, it is a comfort to know that you (and Kev) will be at every game encouraging every player. Warm smiles; a gentle pat on the back; arms raised high; celebrations regardless of the result. Shouts of COYVs!!!!
